A New Day

Today is a New Day for all of us.

Today, will be the day that our 44th President will be sworn in. Not only will it be an awesome day in history, but he will be a President for all people, and he has charged us all to take part in that Change, together as Americans.  We can all take part of this spirit of Change. I believe that we all have areas in our lives that we can improve in and help Change America.
Whether it is truly reaching out to someone outside of your race or culture to really learn something about them and create a friendship or changing your circles to become more culturally aware that our circles need to be diverse to be an example for our children in this generation. Or, it could be doing more for others, volunteering more in any capacity, or doing something that takes us out of our normal day of life and comfort zone.

Today is the day that we all need to reach deep inside ourselves to see where our Changes need to come from in order to be a better American.  This goes beyond politics. It represents the fact that as Human beings, believers and Americans this is our responsibility to help build the future for our children and unborn children.

Our Change begins at home and within ourselves.  Take inventory of your family, family pictures, and your knowledge in different areas, then ask yourself, "What part do you play in Change?"  If you do not know where you fit in this, then pray to God to guide you to an area of Change
