Yesterday, I went to Target, which is one of my favorite stores. I went there after my finger print appointment to see where they were with their after Christmas bargains. Well, I did pick up a few things for great deals.
They had their gift boxes 75% off and the boxes were originally $1.99 for a set of 4. Robe boxes, blouses, and all were the same price!
I purchased about 18 sets of 4 because it was such a good deal since they were .49 cents after the mark down. We will have enough gift boxes for next Christmas as well as other events during the year, and the following year! What a deal.
I called and texted everyone that I could to let them know to go there to get them. They were going so fast and it was early in the day. I had my buggy loaded up and so did others!
It is the perfect time to get the wrapping paper dirt cheap and items that you do not want to pay full price for during the holidays. This is the time where I stock up for the next year. I still have plenty from last years savings as well, but this will cover us for a good while.
Hopefully others will be able to take advantage of their savings things weekend.

Hey Kristy,
I love your new blog and those gift boxes are an excellent bargain. I did a little after Christmas shopping myself for a tree! YESS!
I think I'll stop by our new Target tommorow after church.
Angela,
I hope that you can take part in the savings. This will be one less thing that you will have to worry about when your daughter arrives. Especially if she arrives around the holidays next year.
I definitely can not complain over the .49 set of boxes!
We will probably swing by this afternoon to see about the bargains on the paper.
Yeah! You are looking for a tree! Join the artificial tree club! Its the best! By the time you have used it two years, you have gotten your moneys worth. I don't feel wasteful using ours. The real trees were rather pricey to me. Spending $80-$125.00 for a tree each year adds up.
I hope that you can find a good deal! Check, Lowes, HD, Sears as well. A few catalog companies usually run specials after Christmas on their artificial trees.
Hey girl you are so right. I went to walgreens and got my x-max cards for next year.... the real nice ones. they were 9.99 but w/the 75% off I paid 2,49 for a box of 10!!!! I also got a Kenny G x-max CD original price 6.99, I got it for 1.99 I could not resist and got the girls a tree ornament w/their initials for .49 each, i also got labels, b/c I do the gift bag thing as oppose to gift boxes, but I may have to switch when I visit target tomorrow and get those gift boxes
Celeste,
Yes, great bargains. I didn't know Walgreen had some bargains too. We hit Target yesterday and decided to get some wrapping paper since it was 75% off too. I purchased about 15 rolls and 10 -12 packs of different gift tags to go on the gifts. Everything came to $29.00. Still a bargain when I look at the amount. I feel good knowing that we have added to our stash by taking advantage of the deals.
I would like to purchase some cards as well for next year. The ones we purchased this year, we purchased them at Macys for 60% off the weekend before Christmas. They were a deal. I have not been back to check since Christmas to see what cards they had left.
You found a steal on your cards! Savvy Mom, you are!
