Finger Printing

It was a rainy and cold  morning here today, but we are finished with one of the last major things that we needed. It wasn't messy and it was painless!

I had an early appointment and my hubby took his lunch break and went to have his prints scanned. It is a process that only took 4 minutes total, literally. I arrived and filled out an information card for the prints, gave her my money order and notarized document.

After I finished filling out the document the attendant asked me to come stand over at this scanner and she rolled my fingers across the scanner and they appeared on the screen. This was such a quick and easy process. I am so happy that we did not have to go through the old school messy ink pad process.  Thank goodness for modern technology.

Here are a few random pictures of today's rainy morning going to get the prints taken.

Nice to see progress.... another item off the list of things to do

Yes, it feels good to have that taken care of. It is amazing how advanced we are with technology now. Something that used to take forever, took me all of 4 minutes in their office!
This was major. Everything else is taken care of, that was a definite must.

We are trying to pull together a profile book for them. They have plenty of photos of us from something else that we had to turn in. However, they request that you create a unique profile book. Its fairly easy for us. We have a program on the Mac iphoto that has all of our pictures in chronological order, so we will just go through and pick out what we need.
I have been trying to find a nice book cover that we can use to customize and my husband will graphically customize each page once we come up with all of the pics that we are going to use. I found a couple of things over the break in some stores that we visited and I also considered taking the lazy route and just using shutterfly and creating a nice book through them versus customizing.
However, we are going to customize it ourselves.
