Introduction:

We have been happily married for over 4 years and we created this blog to share with family and close friends as we go through our adoption journey. Adoption has always been a plan for us. Our initial plans were to have a biological child first and then adopt our second or third child. However, God has a way of reminding us that we are not in control. We initially began the paperwork process for an International Adoption for Ethiopia and were excited about the journey that we were led to begin. Shortly after beginning the paperwork for Ethiopia we were contacted by an agency following up with us from our inquiry back in the Spring regarding Domestic Adoptions. We decided we would meet with them to see where this would lead us. Ofcourse, this was a little confusing because we were trying to figure out which direction God was trying to lead us. We decided to be still for a little while and to see what this agency had to offer and listen to God, be prayerful and patient. This is how we arrived at our decision to move forward with a Domestic adoption. Ethiopia is still in our hearts and we are hoping that we will be able to adopt in the future from Ethiopia. If this is in his plans.
