The Nursery's Closet....

Our demo contractor/electrician came today to work on the nursery's closet. In order for us to maximize the closet space that we have in that room for a custom closet, we needed to open it up. A close friend of ours does custom cabinetry and closets and recommended this guy to demo the closet so that he could build the cabinets for the closet so that we can have a functional closet.  We will move forward with the closet cabinetry after the holidays. One project at a time.

Here are a few pictures of the demo project of the closet. The contractor is coming back tomorrow afternoon to finish the final touches. Then our friend can come and get  the exact measurements for the closet.
I will try to post pictures when the job is cleaned up and definitely when the closet is finished.

Hi,
Thanks. It is coming along slowly. The builders closet was ridiculous and not functional. We had to do something.

I am grew up in Cary/Raleigh. That is where my parents reside. However, they are originally from the eastern part of NC at the coast of NC (more rural) where a lot of my parents relatives reside. I spent the first 4 years of my life there and then I lived in Cary/Raleigh with my parents.
What part of NC are you from?

ok, we live in a very small area in NC I usually have to preference by saying the surrounding cities. I live in NJ, my family live in Whiteville, NC, which is a/b 45 mins from South Carolina and a/b a good 15 mins from Wilimgton, NC

Okay. I know where that is. My parents are originally from a small tow (30 minutes) below New Bern NC, and New Bern is the bigger city (if you want to call it that)! I am very familiar with where you are from. My parents know more about where you are from and know people there as well.

We have a lot of family in NJ and NY as well. Hubby and I relocated from NYC about 5 years ago to where we are now.
