I called this morning to schedule our finger print appointment. We were able to get our Finger Print appointment scheduled for next week. Sometimes it takes weeks to get in, but the lady that I spoke to was nice enough to shedule me before I went back to work. I had to confirm the exact amount of the money order that we have to bring in individually and the notarized document that we have to bring to the appointment.
My SW advised me on Monday that we already passed clearance with the other background checks that the agency ran with our paperwork submitted earlier.
The background and fingerprint clearances are two items in addition to health clearances that are a must even if there is a need for a placement (meaning not planned with several months of discussing with the birth parents and adoptive parents with a normal selection process.) We are moving right along.
