Another Saturday

My husband spent all day in the yard today removing leaves and cutting the grass for the final time this year. I left late in the afternoon to go see a few patients at a facility that I PRN for on the weekends in my spare time. When I came home this evening he was just finishing up the yard and cleaned up so that we could go out to start a little Christmas shopping for one hour and to purchase Thanksgiving cards. Today was a long day for us both.

He is so awesome! I woke up this morning kind of tired and weak from my doctors appointment on Friday and he was up cooking pancakes, eggs and sausage for breakfast for me. I am usually the first one to get up in the mornings. However, we are both early risers. He cleaned up the breakfast items and went outside into the yard after fixing breakfast for us and worked all day. It is the little things that count most in a marriage. I love feeling appreciated and not having to ask for things. He is observant and enjoys being needed, in the smallest ways.
As you can see below, he is looking at me like " Can you feed a brother before you start taking pictures?" We went out to dinner shortly afterwards. He is such a team player! We are truly Best Friends Forever as we have always been.

Thanks Kendral! I had a little extra time this weekend so I decided to up things a little bit. I am glad that you are enjoying our journey on the blog--although you and I talk everyday or every other day! LOL
Your ever lending ear and words of wisdom has helped us through this feeling more at ease. Its amazing how God places people in our path. Little did we know when we met after I had just moved here that we would have created a friendship as we have. In addition, experience your process with you guys as well was a blessing in disguise. As you always remind me, everything is ordained by God!

Love ya girl!
