Finally...

What a way to start the first day of September!

I received an email from our SW early this morning advising that our home study document was completed, approved (of course) and ready to go. Translation, we should be having a copy in our hands any day! It seemed like it took forever for the final document to be prepared and completed. However, everything worked out fine and perfect timing.

I think that I really stopped pressing over it because I already a date in mind that I wanted to have the document in my hand if we did not have a placement by a certain time with our current agency. I knew once I had the home study document that I could take it elsewhere (another agency) if I needed to by the end of this month.

We have been finishing up the final details on our profile since we had to start from square one again because it was not backed up when the computer crashed back in July after our vacation. It is all good because we went in a different route with designing our pages. I must say that my husband did a fantastic job designing the pages and hopefully I will be able to show one of the pages in the future without our pictures on it.

A few weeks ago we were asked if we were open to both genders or was our preference still female. We advised her that our preference was a female infant, however we are open to being shown to both. I am being a little flexible! We also advised them that our profile could be shown to some upcoming situations that we were called about. Hopefully, I will be able to post something soon.
