This was my first attempt at scrapping the new way with all of the fancy paper and things! I am looking forward to doing more and putting together the scrapbook of our journey and a few other things. It was such a relaxing experience for me and I really enjoyed the downtime. I am going to a really neat store with a friend that is wonderful.
I think that I did pretty good being that this was my first time and I had to tie things in with the health theme.
I am welcoming feedback. I hope to have things perfected so that I will be able to create some awesome baby scrapbooks and scrapbooks for friends on different occasions.

I like the pages you created. I don't know the first thing about scrapbooking though. I am sure that the book you create for the adoption process will be fantastic.
Great Job.
Thanks for the feedback KMR! It was fun. I do have a Soror that I scrapped with one day and I did these on my own. She said that I did well. She is a professional scrapper on the side. People pay her to create scrapbooks for them.
You look like you did a great job. I love making scrapbooks, but I'm no pro. Scrapbooking is definitely relaxing.
Thanks Shawn. I am learning. I have a Soror who is a pro and she is going to work with me. We are supposed to go this store that has nothing but scrapbooking materials. Michaels was good, but she said it is like a Michaels for scrapbookers. I am excited
Hey Soror, the finished product is definately E.S.P. (Exceptional Scrapbook Pages). Will your chapter scrapbook go to Regional?
Oh, while your out shopping for scrapbook papers, invest in a cropodile (sp), brads, and ribbon...now that's where the fun takes off!
Soror,

Yes, the scrap pages will be in our scrapbook at Regionals next weekend. I will not be there due to all of the extensive traveling we just did.
The article was very heartwarming and interesting. My mother and I had a conversation about it when I was home Easter. I had my book with me and I asked Mommy her thoughts since I was flipping through reading it. My mother said that the young lady she obviously has talent, great grades and ambition and represents what the organization stands for, regardless of race. She definitely demonstrates a true passion for why she wanted to become a member of the organization and represent it for a lifetime. It was heartwarming to read how she felt comfortable attending an event as a non AA.
On a side note, when we arrived in DC for Boule, we flew into to BWI and my husband was tickled as we waited for our luggage and we saw Sorors that were Caucasian, Asian and others beside AA that were sporting their Pink and Green. He would pinch me or squeeze my hand for me to look each time he saw a Soror of a different nationality. I
This is truly showing how things are becoming more diversed in our country as we see progression like this. While our country still has a long way to go in terms of race relations and understanding cultures, we are making a little progress and change has come in many different directions.
I liked her comments about her freshmen year---that's what had me bawling. It truly shows who we are in terms of Service, Scholastics and Sisterhood!
Yes, I like our style!!!
ETA: Now see, I thought Soror was just "light skinned"...(hehehe).
You are funny!
Yes, it was a sincere message and she seems to love her AKA!
