"Mommy what's that white stuff coming down?'
"Ummm this is different!"
Well, there is nothing like living in the south. You will never know what to expect with the weather. We had rain on most of Saturday but the temperature was nice.
Sunday morning it rained and rained and thundered. I was at home while my husband attended our first service. I decided to stay home since I still have a cough and I am coughing up things. I do not particularly like being around people while I am still sick, especially during cold seasons.
Anyway, here are a few pictures of our snow storm that hit us mid morning. My poor dog was so confused as to what this white stuff on the grown was. He has only seen this three times since we have been here. We allowed him to sit on the dining room chair at the window and look outside at the snow. It kept him preoccupied for most of the morning.
These are one of my girlfriends daughters who live in my neighborhood. They saw us coming back from dinner and called our cell when they saw our suv pass by their street. We turned around to stop by and visit and catch up. They had a ball making miniature snowmen and making angels last night.

Sorry to hear you're still sick. I hope you will begin to feel better. Keep intaking plently of fluids. It will continue to come up.
Looks like you got the snow we were supposed to get. Can't say I'm envious. I don't much mind the snow , it driving in it the bothers me. Enjoy ans be careful. I know how they drive in the ATL.
Be careful of the Black-Ice and Stay Warm Soror!

Skee-Ya!
Wow - I can't believe you had that much snow down there!!! You could always move to SD and have more snow ALL the time!!!
Angela,
Thanks. He is a handful but a very loveable dog. He acts like a human so much that it scares me sometimes!
Things are trying to clear up, but it is just taking a while for things to clear out of my chest, but I am doing much better.
KMR,
It was gone by Monday afternoon from my yard like it never snowed! I know that you didnt want any of this stuff your way. Yes, the people here drive foolish when it is dry and we have horrible accidents almost daily.
Soror E.
Yes, I was watching out for the black ice. It was accidents all over the place Monday and Tuesday--more than the normal amount of accidents. The snow was pretty, but the temperatures dropped and it did cause some unsafe conditions the next morning.
Jodi,
I am sure that you get plenty of snow where you are! My first year practicing during my Fellowship year one of my coworkers was doing her Fellowship year with me and she was from Wyoming I think but went to school in South Dakota. She was used to the snow and cold weather, but she was not used to NYC or the diversity! We had some interesting conversations that year!
