Teaching them to give

to others....

We stayed up Wednesday night making treat bags for my sugar baby's classmates. Last night we put the gifts together for her preschool teachers and some of the other staff. I want to teach her the importance of giving to others, even if it is small.

Yes, I made custom toppers for the treat bags with her name on it and they came out really nice. My husband helped me with the program to design them. I am not totally proficient on my own yet!

Here are a few pictures of the the things we made for Valentines Day for her classmates, teachers and preschool staff. The treat bags with the custom toppers are for her classmates and the tumblers are for her teachers.

We are expecting snow here today, therefore, I am home. However, her preschool is still open. My husband took her to school and I will take her teacher's gifts to the school later this morning. We took the treat bags yesterday along with cupcakes, chips, table cloths for their class party that was supposed to be yesterday. The party will be today.

The pictures of her are from this morning before she went to preschool. She was so excited about giving her gifts and having a little party today at school. I still don't believe she really understands the whole Valentines Day thing, however, she is learning and she was exposed to giving to others this year!

The gifts are beautiful and so creative. I love the toppers for the gift bags. You are going to be a great MOM!!! Serenity looks so happy. Now can I get a gift bag? My Birthday is on Valentines Day. In terms of the snow, girl you are a pro if you can do snow in the NYC you can do snow in South.:-)..

Thanks Brenda!
LOL! I can send you the document that I made through email and you can print and cut your own for your bags. Next year remind me and I will make one for your daughter! I did not feel like signing her name to 20 bags or cards!

Yes, I can handle the snow after dealing with NYC snow and driving to work in NYC's snow days. However, the people here can hardly drive when it is dry, so go figure! It shuts a lot of stuff down. We will see what happens.

I let her go to school because I have some things that I need to do today and wanted to relax, although I am off next week! As soon as it starts snowing, I am going to pick her up. Her preschool is close my home, which is great! A straight shot and maybe a 8 minute drive. I am going to drop off the teachers gift a little later.

Those really came out great Kristy. Ms. Serenity is gonna be the most popular girl in class. I agree with Brenda, aside from her being an absolute dollbaby she looks so happy!

Thanks Terrie!
Her teachers were very appreciative as well. They definitely earned their little treat, let's just say that she had some days where she was a little busy at school! There was a little adjustment period where she had to get used to being in new and very large preschool.

She has done very well considering she has not been here 2 months yet. I am glad that she seems to be very happy. She is happy child! I thank God that she transitioned so well. We didn't really have any transition issues at home.

Oh, Alisa! I am sure that yours were great! I decided that I didn't feel like writing her name on 20 different bags and I wanted something simple and functional for her teachers.
Just let me know if you ever need help. I will send you the file through he email and you can print it yourself or send it somewhere to print.
