Neat device

I purchased this device a couple of weeks ago. I saw it in a few magazines that I subscribe to so I thought that I would pick one up to see if it would work for us. It keeps up with your last feedings, changings, etc. and it has a backlight and night light and a clip to attach it to your clothing. I do not know anyone who has used it yet, so I can not give it a review. We put the batteries in it and it really is neat.
I guess it can be confusing for someone if things get busy with a baby and household responsibilities and forget the actual time of the last feeding or changing. Let me know if anyone has used this device. I think it is neat and I may purchase another one to keep in the baby bag for the care provider. If you notice, I have slipped a pic of the dresser in there since we have it out in the hallway due to painting and construction. The crib could not fit through the door. It was assembled in the room, so go figure.

Hold up---what happened to "WAAAAAA-WAAAAAAA" coming from your precious little one as a signal of hunger?

Giggling and thinking: ****New mothers---new technology----gotta love you****

Okay Soror E.,
I am old school too with many of my ways, but I wanted to see what this new device could do! I love electronics. We already know these babies will let you know when they are hungry, wet and just want to be held.
More so, I would let someone else use it keeping the baby. I want my provider to be aware of how much milk they are giving. You know some folks are old school and will stick a bottle in the baby's mouth each time they cry and then I will end up with a porky baby being over fed!! LOL..it happens a lot, more than what we think! Not as a signal, but to keep up with last feedings. It can get rough for some people with a crazy household. Its just hubby and I, but I can imagine those mom's who have two others under 3 and a new born--not remembering when they did what. Too much going on. I think it can also help you track the feeding schedule because the pediatricians are wanting to know everything now and want to make sure that these babies are getting what they need formula wise and sometimes it can be confusing for those who really have not been paying attention as closely as they should.

Now, I had a friend here who had twins at 41 two years ago and she was breast feeding both. That can get confusing with two babies and sleep deprivation. I guess it beats writing things down like many people do. Hey, they have something for everyone now. If you are in Target, check it out!

Your princess will be home before you know it but you will be past the newborn stage I think!
Keep me posted on things. I know that you are too excited about the trip! I am sooooo happy and excited for you!

Okay, Okay, you've convinced me when you tapped into the area of over feeding/over weight=unhealthy lifestyle (you did go there with porky-baby lol-bwaaahaaaa!).

Yes, CocoPrincess is well beyond infant feeding. She is eating cereal and lil'mama has teeth already! Hmmmm, I wonder if I should get one and rig it to her for my Mom (mississippi-bred-feed-em-cornbread-and-collar-greens-in-the-bottle-mixed-with-rich-cereal-old-school)because she most def will have issues with how Dr. Curtis has instructed us to feed the CocoPrincess the first few months home.

I can't wait to hear from you how this new gadget works!
