Highlights....

My father helping him open some of the wrapped gifts before we had to get dressed for church

The gifts that he opened early that morning before we went to church

A special ornament that my mother and father (his Nana with him in the picture) gave him as a keepsake to put on the tree every Christmas. One of 2 Lenox pieces that my parents gave him that he will treasure and we will treasure as well.

Christmas 2011 high lights.. part I

We began Sunday morning by allowing my son to pull out the gifts in his stocking on his nursery door. Then he was excited and proceeded down stairs to open the wrapped gifts that were under the tree. After he unwrapped the gifts, we all went to get dressed for the one service that my church was having. He was excited about going to church for "Jesus birthday party". It was a cold and rainy Sunday morning here, however, we all packed up and celebrated the true reason for the season and boy did I receive a wonderful message that morning as well.
We decided to wait until after to church to allow him to see the 2nd tree with the unwrapped gifts and toys.
That will be part II.
