July....
I am working my way backwards catching up. I thought that I would start with July. My little one is very independent and is really showing that he is in his 2's. Here are just a few pictures of early July. We had a nice long 4th weekend. We went to some friends cook outs and enjoyed ourselves and we also were able to finish planting flowers in our landscape bed. My son rode his tricycle and tried to help his daddy plant the rest of the flowers. He enjoys helping us in the yard and he really enjoys being outside.
The 3 buckets to the side are pictures of our little 4th of July buckets that I picked up from the dollar section of one of my favorite stores (with that red bulls eye). My son picked out the silver one and he still plays with it. The three represents us as a family of 3. I decided to stack them up and I used a gift bag from one of his gifts to put them in front of. I am slowly being able to take more pictures like I would like to. We have to keep him occupied if I am trying to edit. He wants to be apart of the editing process as well. However, we always take tons of pictures of him weekly to track his growth and all of the things that he does.
We ended up staying in the evening of the 4th even though we were invited to a birthday party in the neighborhood at the pool and then later a movie night at the birthday party girl's home with fireworks. The weather turned kind of nasty and started thundering and lightening, so we decided to stay in and relax. However, we did see the firework show from our family room windows.
He is really growing and you will see as I work my way backwards and do current updates at the same time. Thanks for being patient.

Kirsty, your son is so handsome and your photography skills are growing beautifully! Can't wait to see more photos.
Thanks Angela. He is a messl. I need to really get the rest of these pictures up before its the holidays and that will be a whole different story.
He keeps us going so much that sometimes I do not have time to take pictures of other things. We have plenty of him.
Kristy....I am still waiting on him to arrive in the mail....I am growing impatient! He is SOOOO cute and I agree with Angela, your photography skills are great! Looking for any Christmas photo gigs....come on to NC and I know the perfect family....US!
You are funny! He will wear you out! Trust me. If you were here, I would let you baby sit him here at our home next weekend. I have our neighborhood Jazz event. We have never left him with anyone. I may let a neighbor watch him since they have two little girls and I can get to their house quickly from our clubhouse if needed.
These are just random shots, nothing fancy and nothing that I worked hard on. Nothing fixed up. Just some shots from the holiday that I decided to post.
I actually have some nice ones that I took this summer that I need to get printed professionally and mail out. Please continue to be patient with me. I am playing catch up with everything. I have pictures, but I have not printed them and sent them out.
We plan on sending some fall pics out and OF COURSE, there will be some holiday pics this year, ice or not!
We are planning early. I am getting ready to do his 2.5 year old shot probably next weekend and I am trying to decide who to let do his fall pictures and our family pictures.
Kristy, stop being modest....God has given you a gift...it is okay! Girl, He gave us all something :) Now, send me your schedule so that we can set something up!
Thank you Nakira. It is still a work in progress. I am still learning every day. He is showing me that it is a challenge to photograph toddlers. I've learned a lot from him. Thanks!
If we are there for early holidays (and time permits) as we spoke about, I'd be glad to add you to the free family photo list!
Hi Kristy!
Your son is handsome and he certainly looks like a handful! I understand how tough it is to get posts out with a toddler running around. I haven't posted for several months but hope to get back to it soon.
Can't wait to see more pictures of your little guy!
