We are really super excited!
One of my hubby's younger 1st cousins is one of the contestants on a very popular h.g.t.v. show. The new season of the show will broadcast this coming Sunday evening at 10pm. We are so proud of him and his accomplishments at a very young age. Just making it on the show is a big deal and we are extremely excited for him.
So, guys stay tuned in! We will be watching this coming Sunday night to support him.
On a side note, hopefully he will be able to come help us with the completion of our basement project/design in the near future if he doesn't blow up too quick!
I told him this week that I definitely wanted his help with completing our design concept for the basement. Finishing it has been on the back burner, however, we have decided that we really need to go ahead and complete some time later this year or early winter. It would be wonderful to have his talent with our project and he is family, which makes it even better. Fresh, young talent to enhance our ideas!
Anyway, I just wanted to share this great news before the weekend arrived. We are super excited about this accomplishment! I have already given him an official shout out on another social network site so that my other family and friends would know to watch and I decided to have my followers here support it also.
He is going to be such a blessing and inspiration to so many young and aspiring young artists. He has a captivating smile and the fact that he has aspired to achieve his passion and dreams after achieving a challenging degree is awesome. What a blessing!

Okay Kristy...how cool is that! I will definitely be on the lookout for him. Just promise me that you will send him our way once he finsihes the basement :)
Yep, Nakira!
It is super cool. Yes, follow him, support him and vote for him on the site. Of course I will send him your way! Your home is beautiful and you have very clean-lined taste as well, however, all of us can use fresh talent to help us get our vision! Amen to that!
You must have seen the FB comment he made on my page. Don't forget he is an "Aggie" and he represents the "Black and Gold". In addition you all have a similar educational background. He has such a bright future ahead of him.
I love his creativity and clean-line style. We are excited about the show. Whether he makes it or not in regards to getting his own show, we are sure that he will have plenty of design work waiting for him across the country. I almost envy his passion to follow his dreams and step out there on faith as he did!
My mom emailed some folks last night to tell them to watch him that are also decorators back at home. She remembered him vividly from being at the wedding and reception because he was immediate family and she said she remembers his beautiful smile. I was a little surprised she remembered because our wedding reception was a huge blur, but we had a ball and I remember talking to everyone after I looked at all of the pictures.
He was a junior in college when I got married. I didn't see him this past fall because I didn't attend the party that was for my MIL due to work.
However, we have reconnected and we are so happy for him! I will email you or text you his website as well so that you can see some more of his work. Thanks for the support!
By the way, I hope that you are resting some!
In my Neicy Nash's voice: Ooo Ooo 1st-Cousin-To-Soror's-Hubby, my den is hurting for an updated look!
I will definately follow and support him--I love his featured work...and sooooooo young!
PS...Wait....He's First Pham too????!!! Way to do it 06!
Thanks Jabena!
Yes, please follow him and check him out through the season. We are excited about him being on the show and yes he is representing the "First Pham". His background is so diverse. We are really excited for him. I love to see people passionate about their work.
You are too funny! I always envision how you sound when you respond to my posts! It cracks me up.
He's a good looking guy Kristy. How exciting for your family. I'll remember to watch. It's one of my favorite shows.
Kristy, I watched it last night and he is hanging in there...he has to be the youngest one out of that crew!!!
Thanks, Angela. He is sweet and has a wonderful presence. It was very intense watching the first episode last night. I tried to put myself in the situation and it is challenging with limited time. But hey, thats what it is all about with designers.
Nakira,
I think that he is the youngest to be honest. Yes, he is very young. This is definitely an awesome experience for him at a young age. We were watching last night and like ooooooohhhhh! OMG, you left the other merchandise! It was cool watching it though. I was particular proud of him with how humble he was with owning up to his execution difficulties with the challenge. I believe being humble in circumstances gets you farther as well.
Hey Kristy! I love your new profile pic! You're definitely a girly girl like me. Too bad you're not closer... lol!
Hey Angela,
Thanks! I decided to put one up from the beach this past week. I am actually up now trying to put a new post up. I need to really do a better job with posting since I am home.
We are not too far apart. I think we are thinking of visiting Nashville in the the future. I will keep you posted so that we can meet up somewhere or something. Let me know whenever you guys come to our area.
I will. I was in Nashville last week! I'm so tired of driving up and down to hwy. lol! Maybe I'll find a cheap flight to ATL. soon.
Yep. Just keep looking and see if there is anything on the calendar to come see or do. It is a quick trip. Keep me posted.
