2 months as 3!

Today is our 2nd month having our little one!

It has been absolutely a blast! I will have to catch up and move from March up until now to share pictures and bring everyone up to date. We have been enjoying ourselves and it has been a wonderful experience. We have been blessed to transition a little one into our home with no adjustment issues. I have to give All of the credit to God!

We have not had any transition issues and even the case workers noted that he seemed as though he has been with us since birth and they rarely see a toddler transition so easily. Lots of prayer before he came and lots of prayer while we were waiting is the answer to that mystery!

I promise to post some pictures and catch the blog up. Since his arrival, we have celebrated his birthday, he has started attending a private Christian academy, we have had 2 showers and we have one more that is being planned locally. He has traveled out of state with us for his 2nd shower that was given by my family. So, we will have lots of updating to do. We have been blessed beyond measure and I can't wait to share all of the greatness!

I have a few things to blog about! Thanks for still following and being patient with me. I have been enjoying my baby and blogging has been on the backseat. However, I know that it is helpful to share the experiences.

Question: What does his bedroom look like? (smiling at this question).

That was going to be one of my posts! I have been a real slacker! We are in the process of changing his room.
Yes! From the custom stuff that we worked so hard on during the wait, to another room designed just for him since he is a baby boy. I will definitely post pictures of what it is now, because it will be changing shortly!
We have been working on pulling everything together over the past 2 months. The changes should take place and the room should be totally transformed by the end of May or early June. As far as new bedding, window treatments (panels), paint, wall decor, storage, wall art and painting his bathroom in his bedroom as well.

Great question! Thanks for keeping me on my toes and reminding me to share.

Thanks Nakira!
I received your text this evening! We were at my SIL's baby shower this evening and I couldn't really talk or respond in detail.
The event at home was primarily immediate family. You know how large my family is. It was so busy with so many people that I would not have preferred to have close friends that I have not had time to spend with there because I was being pulled in 10 different directions and I would not have spent the time with you or anyone else like I should due to so many people coming.
We will connect on the next trip and I will let you know about the shower that will be in June.
Love ya!
