quick project

My wreath....

I finally put my fall wreath together. I purchased a wreath and the leaves and other items to dress it up over a month ago. I purchased the wreath separately and received it half off ($4.99). I returned about a week later to the same store and picked up decorations for the wreath (ribbons, leaves etc). I think everything came to about $20.00 to complete this little project.

Today, I finally pulled everything out and I put the wreath together so that I could decorate my front door for the change of the season. Before you know it, it will be time to put up the Christmas decorations. I don't think that the wreath came out too bad!
Now, I have my wreath, my 3 pumpkins and my fall mat outside to make things kind of complete and a warm welcome!

Thanks!
I have two white and one brown/bronze. They are three different sizes. I think the third one was cut out of the picture. Oh well!
The wreath only took me 10-15 minutes to put together. I just wanted it together and up so that it would not be another unfinished project!

I like white pumpkins too. I had to throw my fall wreath away last year. It was dried wild-flowers. I need a new one, but I'm waiting on a sale.

I have had dried up wreaths in the past for the fall and spring and I decided to make one this year to cut back on the costs. I still have one or two, but I wanted to hang something different this year. So, I created my own and it was way cheaper than my dried ones from the places that I purchased them from in the past.

That is cute. Great idea. I normaly make a wreath for christmas, never thought about for fall/harvest, thanksgiving time.

Kmr,
You should try t!
It is really not that much in terms of your time being consumed making it. Plus it saves some money!

Thanks Chassidy! However, the wreath only took me about 10 minutes to put together! The hardest part was finding the flowers and ribbon that I wanted in the store bring it together.
I was kind of getting tired of paying for expensive wreaths for every season when I could attempt to make them on my own for much less.
