I love pink. I wanted to share this picture of a very chic diaper bag that I found for a deal last month. It was too cute to pass by.
I was practicing with natural light and using the flash in the nursery over the weekend and I decided to take a picture of a couple of things. (As you can see, the wood trim has not been painted yet. My husband promised to finish the trim work this coming weekend.)
I decided to let one of the nursery's bears pose with it.
This is one of those baby bags that a person would not wear often, however, when you do wear it, it makes a little statement because of the color and the design. My husband was a little shocked that I purchased it, because I am not a trendy purchaser, however, he did agree that it would look hot with all black or chocolate as I mentioned and it does have a soft quilted pattern.
It is actually a very nice diaper bag with a changing pad and really neat compartments inside. I like the fact that there are so many different diaper bags out there now and Mommy's don't have to look like old maids with boring bags all of the time, especially if you are not carrying a purse. I really think the color makes this diaper bag.

I love diaper bags! And this pink one is really cute. Hope things are going well for you!!
I'm not a huge fan of pink, but I have to admit, I really like that bag! I think I would actually carry that!!!!
Nice bag! They even have some good looking ones for daddy's to carry now.
Thanks Miles' Mama!
It is really a girly pink. Things are going well for us. I will email you. Thanks for checking on us.
Kelly,
I am not overboard with pink either, but I am very fond of it! I am glad that you like the bag.
It really gives the new modern mom a way to look chic while carrying diapers, bottles and other items. Just think about how long we really have to carry them. It goes beyond the first year!
Thanks Debbie,
I am loving the picture of Isabel on this picture!
Yes, you are right, they have so many options for men now.
My husband has a 2 Eddie B. diaper bags already with our diaper bag collection and I think a diaper dude bag. I was advised to pick up different bags because it is something that we will need for a while. We started picking up bags last year.
I kind of see the diaper bags as a purse and I do not want to carry the same bag around all of the time. All of my friends switch diaper bags on the regular as well.
I forgot to post that I actually have a denim one similar to this that I purchased back in the winter on sale and it is really cute. I didn't realize that this particular designer made diaper bags until I ran across the first one in one of my bargain stores!
It makes sense because she is a career mom and in the fashion industry. I guess she is appealing to those in the workforce that still want to look nice with their diaper bags on their shoulder as well.
You know, sometimes I am sure people want carry something besides plastic pooh diaper bags!
OOOOOOO Soror, I love the softness of your bag (at least it looks soft from the pics).
I wasn't into diaper bags but MAN
I love them now since being a Mommy all over again! I just found a cute pink one with Asian and Tapestry inspiration that travels with me on all our "at the park" playdates.
I have a different diaper-bag for each car that stays packed and ready to go, one just for the Grandmom visits, one for Sunday services, one Manly-bag for my hubby, a messenger type for big brother...I am a diaper-bag addict! Heheheehe.
Oh, Soror E.,
I knew that you would also be able to relate to purchasing diaper bags!
Yes, the diaper bag is very soft. I became addicted to finding nice bags last year when we began the journey. I have an asian inspired/printed pattern as well I think one is pink, green and creme and another one is green, creme and brown. Both are kind of floral type. I have a collected a good number of bags over the past few months.
You are right about needing diaper bags packed for different vehicles to remain in there. It makes it so much easier when you are in a rush and you may forget to pack something essential in your bag on your way out of the door. I have not found a bag to remain in my suv yet. I will have to keep looking. The ones that I have thus far are more fashionable.
My hubby is content with the solid Messenger Eddie B. bags or plain diaper backpacks or slings. I need something for different days and different attire. It is good to have one or two bags that go with pretty much everything for running around, but I enjoy finding great deals on bags. Maybe I will post pictures another day of the collection!
Keep me posted on how things are going with the little princess.
...and guess what else I found yesterday at Ross...a Tommy Hilfiger (sp) medium size purse coco in color with green handles that looks more like a chic-diaper bag than a purse.
I grabbed it up ($29.00) and plan on using it for days when I'm dressed for business but have to carry baby!
Yes, I will have to e-mail you on so many things...yes that too!
Hey,
that is what I am talking about a deal! I find a lot of my deals at Marshalls. I have to stop by on a regular because they will only have one of the item when it comes to the nice baby bags like the ones that I have found over the past few months.
I walk in the store and go straight to the baby section and look on the wall! If I like it and see it and know that it is a bag I would use, I snatch it up.
$29.00 is a good deal. Thats actually the same price that I paid for my bags (that were more expensive retail). So, I don't feel bad when I see the real price tag on them and I know what department store they came from originally.
We were in BRUS this afternoon and I looked on the isle with the diaper bags, and they all were very expensive 49.00 and up with most, from the plain to the modern. So, I do not feel bad paying $29.00 and $14 for bags that are a little more fashionable.
I guess I need to pick up some basic bags just to have. However, I am going to see if I can find those on clearance at Target or somewhere when they have their sales!
